The Butterflies

We have put together a drawing of hands with thorns in between them. This represents the environmental and service ideals of round square. The  hand represents service and the thorns represent environmentalism. There are tools, which also represent service when we are making something for the less fortunate. The cuts on the hand represent hard working people. We haven't added colour because it would take the attention away from the details. The black and white also represents the hard work of the people in our rainbow nation, South Africa.

Five Squared

photo.jpg

We're are doing the Ideals. Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership & Service. We have symbolized it by putting the words on the earth. The placement of the words are meant to symbolize the way we are supposed to balanceand obtain this different qualities or skills. The children holding hands are symbolizing how the youth are meant to unite to improve the word as one. To unite as one to accomplish their goals  together. The main two ideas we are focusing on are Internationalism & Service because the people are working together to improve society; fix the unstable places etc. The colours represent how we have to be useful of our resources. Circle represents how that no one is in charge  we all  have to work to achive our goal.

This piece is inspired by the ideal democracy. All the people in the drawing are from all around the world and are taking the long road to democracy. this is a very relevant piece to the world's struggles in the political world. The trees and the foliage are an example of the environment. The journey these people are taking represents adventure. Internationalism is represented by the different ethnicities and races coming together and trying to obtain this common goal in our world. The group ahead or in front represents leadership, and the woman carrying the parcels and goods represents service. We attempted to utilize all of the ideals in one, well- constructed piece of artwork.

World Flags

image.jpeg

In our design we have drawn the round square symbol (a circle inside of a square) and inside of the circle we have drawn all of the countries flags that are part of our planet earth. We chose this design because we believe in unity and being one we believe In equality and we believe that there shall be no corruption as we are all one. The human race.

The Envos

image.jpeg

The concept of our artwork is using the two ideals internationalism and environmentalism. As you may see the base of our design is a tree, we used this significant part of nature as our base because we need nature to survive and it is the basis for live, just as it is the base of our design and the object that keeps it standing up. The tree also symbolises internationalism as it indicates growth within and between different people from around the world. Another way that we are showing internationalism is the flags that surround the round square sphere-that turns when the wind blows- this shows how round square connects and holds together different connections between people and places around the world.

Womba's Group

We are using environmental and the logo for our poster.
It shows that just from one plant we can have a brighter future. The plant shows that we care for the environment and also shows how our economy is growing into a better place.
The hand show that we are nurturing and taking care of the plant to help it grow bigger, it is also being compared to the government because it shows that the government provides the nutrients and products we need to grow the economy.

The logo that we drew symbolizes the E in IDEALS which is environment. Our logo represents round square playing a part in enriching the earth and planting more trees. Round square aims to make the Earth go green, so by this we can show the rest of the world how dedicated we are in making the Earth go green. By planting more trees, we can actually save the Earth and some of the endangered animals out there that actually depend on trees. Our logo shows how much we as Round Square members care about nature. The reason the plant is so small is because we are a young school who is still going to blossom.

Round square

Our drawing symbolizes all round square ideals. The plane flying over the different countries symbolizes internationalism as it shows people going to different places.  For democracy we have shown buildings to symbolize governance and justice. The trees and plants in our drawing symbolize environmentalism and new growth. The pyramids, table mountain and Victoria falls symbolizes adventure as this shows exploring new places and capitals.  The tall person walking in front of the small people is shown as leadership
As it is an old person guarding a younger person. The army man symbolizes service as he is guarding and protecting the country.

Round2

image.jpeg

We have used the Round Square logo for our inspiration. We have put a fresh, modern spin om the logo. We have still managed to capture what the logo stands for.

The central design of the design is made up of the basic design of the original logo. The scale is a new take on the off-centered words. The scale is unbalanced to show how people are different.

Round Square

Each hand represents a different race in the world. It shows how people of different races come together in unity during round square. The hands holding the globe represents "Internationalism" and "Environmentalism".

The "Internationalism" part is the globe showing all the continents and countries in them coming together and understanding and having tolerance for one another. It also builds the ideal of " Adventure" as we experience new things and get out of our comfort zones when we go to new parts of the globe or even new parts in our country.

The "Environmentalism" part of it is the hands holding the globe as it represents our care and love for the Earth, it also shows our committed power to reducing our waste and pollution, re-using paper, plastic and glass and recycling paper, plastic and glass to making new and improved inventions.

The hands on the outside represent "Service" because it shows how we all come together to help those less fortunate than us. This enables us to the fact that we are not the only one's who have problems and should understand our problems and tolerate other people's problems. This builds confidence in ourselves and leaves us with the ability to conquer anything.

The ideal of "Leadership" is represented by big hands leading little hands into the world and gives them hope as well as courage into a new and better world.

"Democracy" is represented by the the hands joining together to represent governance and justice to a new and better world, where everything is equal and has got no corruption

Each puzzle piece represents a country. At first, when you receive the puzzle, the puzzle pieces are separated but then they are put together. This shows that the countries are first separated and not together until they are brought together. This puzzle is put and brought together by Round Square. This therefore symbolizes that all the countries come together through the power of Round Square.

Round Square is in the centre for two reasons. 1. Round Square is the most important thing here as it is what brings all the countries together. 2. The picture's inspiration is from the Round Square logo. The inspiration is also from the ideal of 'Internationalism'.

This is our representation on Round Square.

The Pillars

.

We are making a sculpture that represents the ideal of internationalism , internationalism involves different races coming together as one. Our sculpture is made of recycled materials to also represent the Environment. The base represents strength and support. The box represents pillars to hold up the earth . The box is also the round square logo. There are arms of different colors that hold up the earth which represent different races. There are flags around the box that represent the continents. In the centre there is the earth which represents us all (internationalism )
